The Genie was founded during a time of change. After the COVID-19 pandemic, many transportation companies closed, leaving families searching for dependable, trustworthy travel options in Central Florida. Seeing that need, Simon, a lifelong hospitality professional, created The Genie Transportation Services — a company built on safety, service, and family values.
Simon’s journey began far from Orlando. After graduating from high school in Casper, Wyoming, he moved to Florida in 2004 to join the Walt Disney World College Program, working at EPCOT’s Test Track and Mission: SPACE, and later at the Candy Cauldron in Downtown Disney (now Disney Springs). Those experiences taught him what Disney does best — creating happiness through exceptional guest service.
After Disney, Simon spent nearly 20 years flying around the world as a flight attendant and international purser for one of the nation’s major airlines. Leading international flight crews, he developed a passion for safety, teamwork, and world-class customer service. That same commitment is now at the heart of The Genie.
Simon also holds a valid FAA pilot’s license, bringing aviation-level safety standards and precision to every aspect of The Genie’s operations.

We operate one of the newest fleets of vehicles in Orlando. Every vehicle is purchased brand new and serviced exclusively at a certified GM service center, where it undergoes an extensive safety inspection before returning to service.
