Here is what actually happens on our end when your wheels touch down. You get a text from your driver almost immediately, so you are never standing at baggage claim wondering who to look for.
The airport sits close to Lake Nona and the 528, which is part of why the drive to most destinations is shorter than people expect. Universal area hotels run about 20 to 30 minutes, Disney resorts 25 to 35, and Port Canaveral about 45 to 60. What eats your time is rarely the distance. It is the wait for a ride and the shuffle to find it.
What happens when you land with us
If you book our VIP service or add the Meet and Greet, your driver waits at baggage claim with a sign, helps at the carousel, and walks you down to the car in the permitted vip tunnel that only licensed operators can use. For our larger Sprinter van, loading happens in the commercial lane on level 1, the same area the buses use, because the van is too tall for the tunnel. Either way, the driver loads the bags while you get settled.
The options, honestly
Rideshare is cheapest for one or two people, but surge pricing is real and car seats are hit or miss. Taxis skip the surge and run a meter. Shared shuttles are the budget choice if you do not mind waiting and stopping at other hotels. A rental car makes sense if you plan to drive daily, less so if you are staying on Disney property and paying to park. Private is the pick when you want a set price and a driver who is already there.
Track the flight, not the clock

Two rules that save the trip
Book three to four weeks ahead during busy seasons so you are not stuck when the good drivers sell out. And if anyone inside the terminal walks up and asks whether you need a ride, say no and keep walking. Those are not licensed operators, and it is the fastest way to overpay or worse. Whether you are Disney bound, headed to a Walt Disney World resort, or catching a ship from the cruise port, the same rules apply.
Terminal C changed the airport
If your last trip through MCO was a few years ago, Terminal C will feel unfamiliar. It opened in 2022 on the south side of the airport and handles a growing share of flights, with its own security, baggage claim, and ground transportation setup. The pickup and rideshare zones are not where they are in Terminals A and B, so double check which terminal your flight uses before you assume you know the way out. When we pick you up, we route to the right side automatically.
What about Brightline
Orlando International also has a Brightline station now, with train service down to the Miami area and stops in between. If you are arriving by rail instead of air, the pickup logistics are similar, and we can meet you at the station and continue to your hotel or the parks. It is a nice option for guests combining a South Florida stop with an Orlando trip.
