A Magical Start to a Disney Vacation
In early February, we had the pleasure of welcoming a family of four—a husband, wife, and their two young children—for their Walt Disney World trip. Our driver was tasked with their pickup. Knowing they had their hands full, he made sure the vehicle was ready with pre-installed, age-appropriate car seats and a case of complimentary water. Before they even landed, our driver was in communication, ensuring a seamless connection. He met them at our private pickup location at MCO, a calm oasis opposite the often chaotic rental car areas, to help with luggage, a stroller, and getting the little ones settled.
The goal is always to begin the vacation magic from the moment a family steps off the plane. For us, this meant providing a smooth and helpful transition from the baggage claim to our comfortable vehicle. Our driver ensured their Orlando airport transportation was more than just a ride; it was a warm, welcoming experience. The drive to their resort was direct and peaceful, allowing the family to relax and soak in the excitement. Seeing the kids' happy faces as we pulled up to their hotel confirmed we had started their trip off on the right foot, turning a potentially stressful travel day into the first chapter of their magical story.
The Extra Mile: A Mission to Return a Lost Hat
When it was time for the family to head home, our driver was there again to provide their return Walt Disney World transportation. After a fun-filled trip, the family was understandably exhausted. It wasn't until they were at their gate that they realized their 5.5-year-old son had left his hat behind. A quick message reached our driver, who immediately called and offered to drive back to the airport to hand it off. While incredibly kind, the timing was too tight for them to re-clear security. Without hesitation, we pivoted to a new plan: shipping it home. Simon took over, promptly packaged the hat, sent a photo of the UPS receipt, and assured them it was on its way—all at no charge.

"I just have to send the biggest shout out to The Genie Transportation Services. They are an example of going above and beyond for the customer. In early February, my family and I took a trip to Walt Disney World. My husband and I knew we'd have our hands full with our two littles, luggage, stroller, etc. We decided to use The Genie Transportation Services as we'd read positive reviews and the prices were fair. In addition to having a private car to bring us from the airport to our resort, they provided age appropriate car seats. We also were able to rent a stroller for our trip that we didn't have to worry about picking up or meeting someone to grab. And the cherry on top was the complimentary case of water bottles. Just before our trip I received a confirmation text from Simon. The day of our arrival, our driver communicated promptly and was ready for us as soon as we landed. He was so helpful and sweet while we made our way to baggage claim, retrieved our items, and located him. He made the pick up at the airport and dropoff at the resort seamless. He was also an excellent driver. Side note: the pick up location was in a private area opposite of the rental car pick up at MCO. It was very quiet and calm - very different from the sometimes overwhelming environment of airports and airport arrival areas. A great way to start of the trip. When it was time to head home we received the another confirmation text from Simon. And the driver reached out the day of to keep me updated on his ETA at the resort. Here is the best part of the entire experience. As one can imagine, the family and I were exhausted. By the time we got to the airport, my 5.5 year old had taken off his hat to put up his hoodie. His dad and I were unaware and too tired to realize. It wasn't until we were sitting at the gate that it dawned on us. I reached out to the driver and he immediately called offering to come to the airport to hand it off to me, which is already so kind. With the timing I was worried about getting back through security in time for our flight. That's when I offered to pay if they could ship it to my house. He said to go ahead and reach out to Simon with my address. I did and when I heard from Simon later, his reply was a picture of The UPS Store receipt showing the tracking information and letting me know when the hat was expected. He even apologized for taking a while to ship it despite the fact he was doing something that was not necessary. I asked to Venmo or Zelle money and he said it's not necessary but let him know if the hat doesn't arrive when expected. The hat arrived earlier than scheduled and my son was overjoyed to have it back. The service provided outside of the hat incident was already top tier. But the generosity to go the extra mile for my little one means the world. I couldn't recommend The Genie Transportation Services more and will absolutely be using them for future visits to WDW."
